Summary
Inner beauty brand VITALBEAUTIE has unveiled a new health functional food line focusing on managing body fat and carbohydrates, called the ‘Metagreen line’. The expanded lineup includes three types of products: Metagreen slim up, Booster shot 7 days, Calorie cut jelly. Pursuing high-efficacy wellness solutions, VITALBEAUTIE’s Metagreen line emphasizes a more functional color scheme to convey strong effects and expertise compared to previous offerings. Additionally, Drawing inspiration from the scenes of researchers exploring raw materials, we crafted design elements such as line graphics and icons. Our aim was to construct an image of functionally robust and rigorously validated product. In package design, various forms of contents such as tablets, liquids, jellies, along with container designs, were visualized in 3D graphics to facilitate intuitive differentiation.

Background
The existing Vital Beauty Meta Green Slim Up products used a neutral green tone as the main color to convey a natural and healthy image. The catchphrase “Don’t worry, Eat happy!” and a smiling character were also used to establish an approachable and enjoyable image of dieting. However, as Vital Beauty evolves into a brand pursuing “high-performance wellness,” we aim to redefine its identity with a more functional and professional image.

Concept
Vital Beauty’s MetaGreen line, which offers high-performance wellness solutions, seeks to express both efficacy and professionalism through a cleaner, more concise layout and a functional color scheme compared to the previous design. By unifying the color palette of the Slim Up and Calorie Cut Jelly products based on the MetaGreen Booster Shot, the new design ensures immediate recognition in complex retail environments, reinforcing the cohesive identity of the MetaGreen line.

Graphic design
Inspired by scenes of researchers studying and observing ingredients, we developed design directions that convey a sense of high efficacy and rationality through line graphics resembling magnified views, and others that evoke a clinical image of verified products using graphic elements like certification marks. While the previous layout emphasized product efficacy, the new layout enhances the visibility of product names, guiding users to clearly recognize the expanded Meta Green line.

3D graphics were developed to clearly depict the various product forms—powder, liquid, and gel—and applied across the packaging. The product’s attributes are visualized through dynamic compositions and lively imagery of the product being opened or torn, enabling intuitive understanding. Product renderings, grids, and linear graphics are integrated to enhance a functional impression. Additionally, icons that clearly communicate the product’s benefits were designed and placed prominently on the front of the packaging for instant recognition.

To convey Vital Beauty’s scientific expertise and proven efficacy, we utilized laboratory motifs such as beakers, flasks, and glass tubes, evoking the professionalism of Vital Beauty’s Inner Beauty Lab. By pairing opaque products with transparent props, the design captures both scientific precision and artistic sensibility. The background and props were photographed using monochrome backlighting to accentuate the brand’s signature powerful green hue.

Booster Shot illustrates liquid rapidly filling the container and being pulled taut with a ruler, visually representing the concept of dieting. Calorie Cut Jelly* dramatizes its chunky, elastic texture, showing it wrapping or bouncing off the pouch to evoke a tactile sense of jelly. These vivid visual expressions deliver a dynamic product experience and enhance its appeal.
