""What if we could transform discarded cosmetic bottles, used only once and thrown away, into reusable material?
The development of our upcycled plates began with this very concern—rethinking the cosmetic bottles we produce, use, and discard. As Amorepacific designers, we recognized the urgent issue of managing collected cosmetic bottle plastics. From our own creative perspective, we sought ideas for more sustainable consumption. The result was a new type of plate, uniquely embedded with Amorepacific’s signature patterns and colors.
PLATE [A] was produced using a sheet-press method, which minimizes environmental pollution by bonding materials through pressure and heat over a set time. Compared to the conventional pelletizing method of recycling waste plastic, this approach reduces harmful emissions and offers a new, more sustainable solution.
