Osan Botanic Garden Kids Atelier
오산식물원에서 선보이는 어린이와 가족을 위한 가드닝 프로그램
AMOREPACIFICMay 09, 2025
Summary
“Osan Botanic Garden Kids Atelier” was designed to convey the infinite value of plants and the wonders of life to children and to inform the various possibilities
of plants. If you look into the grass, flowers, and trees in the vast botanical garden, you can find that different plants coexist in harmony with different forms
of plants. I hope that all children who are looking for Osan Botanic Garden will interact with nature and learn the beauty of the name.
Background
This initiative aims to enhance corporate social value by strengthening community bonds and expanding touchpoints with future generations.
It does so by offering content for children who need interaction with nature and for local communities lacking leisure and cultural infrastructure.
To bring the program to life, the exhibition gallery at Osan Botanic Garden
was designated as the primary space for program development and design execution.
[Reservation]
The program operates by advance reservation only, and for security reasons, is conducted exclusively within designated areas of the exhibition gallery and botanical garden.

[Program]
The program consists of three flower-based experiences combined with
corporate-related content, designed to help children explore nature through play and creativity.
[Design]
The logo was designed in a simple, minimalist form, while the slogan and color palette were developed to evoke vibrancy and seasonal warmth.
Considering the operational period (April–May), lavender was selected as the main color, symbolizing freshness and calm.
Ground beige was used as a sub-color to represent the earth, while camellia red highlights the vibrancy of blooming flowers.
The slogan “A Garden Made by Little Hands” conveys the idea that through nurturing and creating their own gardens, children can experience the wonder and grandeur of nature, even in its smallest forms.
The design centers on flower characters inspired by Osan Botanical Garden’s signature plants — camellia, lavender, and daffodil.
By humorously illustrating natural elements essential to plant growth, the visuals provide children with a friendly, engaging, and educational experience.
[Layout]
The exhibition gallery is organized into two main zones: Experience Space (Playground) – a hands-on area where children can create with freshly picked flowers.
Corporate Content Zone – featuring Healing Times and plant-based ingredient books, offering visitors a calm space for learning and reflection.
At the entrance, a reception area welcomes visitors, leading them naturally through the Playground zone and into the exhibition area, where they can explore the diverse potential of plants and connect emotionally with nature.
The program flow follows a one-way route: entrance on the left and exit on the right, ensuring a smooth and immersive visitor experience.

Entrance
The gallery entrance serves as an introduction area where visitors can receive program information and leaflets.
Reception
To the right of the entrance is the reception area, where visitors are given
a brief explanation of the space and programs and provided with tools for plant and flower collection.
Guests are then invited to explore the vast botanical garden, observing the diversity and wonder of the plants.
Under the guidance of a docent, participants collect a variety of plants and flowers from designated gathering spots, fostering a deeper appreciation for nature.
Play Ground #1
After returning to the exhibition gallery, children can dye handkerchiefs using the flowers they collected.
At a large communal desk, participants use prepared handkerchiefs and dyeing tools to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind works with their gathered flowers and plants.
Play Ground #2
At the next table, children use the remaining flowers to make sweet, flower-infused candies, combining creativity and sensory play.

While the children make candies, parents can relax at the adjacent table, enjoying fragrant flower-blended tea as they wait.
The Original Contents [HEALING TIMES]
Visitors can experience Healing Times: Plants Edition, an original brand content series
that captures the soothing essence of flowers and plants through immersive video and sound.
Books & Wrapping Zone
In the plant-themed book curation and wrapping zone, participants can explore selected botanical books
and package the dyed handkerchiefs and flower candies they created—completing their nature-inspired experience.
Browse plant and ingredient books published by Amorepacific, and experience the company’s
authentic dedication to in-depth research—from raw materials to finished formulations.
This is the wrapping zone, where participants can package their creations—handkerchiefs and flower candies.
Here, guests wrap their finished pieces along with a postcard to take home, bringing the program journey to a thoughtful close.
As we conclude the “Osan Botanic Garden Kids Atelier” program, we hope this experience has given
children the opportunity to freely explore their dreams and curiosity within nature.
