Introducing Amorepacific’s 2021 calendars and diaries. Eco-friendly standing calendars and Moleskine-style diaries were produced and distributed to employees, reflecting the company’s commitment to a sustainable and beautiful future.
Concept
The 2021 calendar and diary were designed to embody the values of a company dedicated to responsible consumption, with environmental sustainability considered at every stage—from planning to disposal.
1. waste
Paper sheet sizes were optimized to reduce waste, unnecessary set packaging was eliminated, and a single-material structure was used to facilitate easy separation and recycling.
2. material
The products were made with FSC-certified paper, Eco-Spring bindings, and Tyvek—an eco-friendly material.
3. finish
Full-color printing and excessive post-processing were intentionally excluded.
The cover, made of eco-friendly Tyvek, decomposes into water and c
arbon dioxide when incinerated, and
offers water resistance, durability, and excellent preservation.
The diary, made from FSC-certified neutral paper,
provides a comfortable writing experience.
“Our goal was to uphold Amorepacific’s commitment to sustainability and continue moving forward.”
Each year, Amorepacific’s stationery reflects the company’s core values and evolves in terms of eco-conscious design.
This year, we maintained positive practices from previous editions while eliminating unnecessary elements.
Based on employee surveys, we removed low-usage mini notebooks, significantly reducing paper use compared to last year.
We even considered the number of paper springs used to further improve sustainability.
The packaging was designed with a single-material frame and paper springs, ensuring that
the materials are unified and easily recyclable, from creation to disposal.
