The digital content for the Silan Collection—Artisan Silan and Silanfact—has been updated with a modern digital sensibility, blending heritage with the present. As the motifs are inspired by jewelry, the pieces were photographed against dark backgrounds to highlight the vivid colors of the gemstones, with close-up shots used to showcase the intricate details of each Silan piece. The content emphasizes ornamental beauty through rich colors and transitions seamlessly into the present to convey the modernity of the collection. The Silan designs were also freely and creatively reinterpreted into graphic patterns using gemstones, expressing a contemporary sense of fashion.
The last royal relics of the Joseon Dynasty have been reborn as the Silan Masterpiece Collection. This collection was inspired by the “White Jade Flower Dropping Jewel,” a headpiece worn by Queen Yeongchin, the last queen of Joseon. In 2020, Silan was introduced through two collections: Jangin Silan, created in collaboration with Master Kim Young-hee—National Intangible Cultural Property No. 18 for jade carving—and the Silan Collection, a modern reinterpretation of the original pieces. Jewelry designer Jiye Shin incorporated contemporary aesthetics and techniques into the gemstone colors and arrangements, reimagining traditional beauty for today’s audience.
