The New Commerce office “café N” is a new type of workspace that combines a café and a shared office. It transforms a
former door-to-door sales agency—once a simple office located on the mezzanine floor of a commercial building—into a
space where counselors and customers can meet and experience key products firsthand.
Concept
The main strategy of BY23 Newcomers is to drive organizational growth by actively recruiting counselors in their 30s and 40s,
along with innovating ways of working. This calls for the creation of sales spaces that meet the expectations of a younger
generation of counselors and new customers.
“A space where people gather, connect, and grow together”
We define the Next Newcomer Office as a place where people come together, connect, and grow alongside one another.
This project was launched with the goal of creating a café-like space where conversations about beauty naturally
unfold and people engage in open communication.
To recruit competitive counselors who can meet the needs of diverse customers,
it is essential to create an attractive environment—a space where people genuinely want to work.
Currently, there are around 450 Newcomer Offices across the country. These spaces aim to foster
sustainable relationships between people, communities, and products. They are envisioned as places
where locals can come together, share stories of beauty, engage in meaningful communication, and pursue their dreams.
“From a simple office space to an open, café-style environment”
A space once filled with tables solely for counselor training and work has been transformed into a welcoming café for customers and a shared office that inspires people to work.

“Embracing sustainable values”
Amorepacific’s journey began in 1964 with the introduction of its door-to-door sales system,
and the Amorepacific Counselor has continued to grow, earning lasting love from customers despite the changing times.
Just as the history of New Commerce has been built with care over time, items that carry the traces of years past hold stories and values we ought to cherish.
Through this space, we sought to embody the idea of “the beauty found in the traces of time,” which aligns with the very essence of New Commerce.
A space that holds the beauty of countless stories accumulated over the years—
Newcomer Café N offers a new perspective on deep, time-honored beauty, distinct from the conventional.
Product Experience Space Created Using Crushed Amorepacific Empty Bottles
Newcomer Café N, while operating as a bakery café, preserves the original structure
and character of the existing site. Though it’s a new store, we reused furniture and
fixtures discarded from closed Amore Store and Innisfree locations. As a result, we
achieved approximately 48% cost savings compared to using entirely new furniture.*
*Based on actual costs for purchasing and installing the recycled Amore Store furniture.
Starting next year, Newcomer Café N will expand under a newly developed space manual.
It plans to grow as a space that embodies sustainable values by collaborating with
Workshop A—which stores unused Amorepacific furniture and items from closed
stores—alongside local second-hand furniture dealers and material suppliers.
