Summary
Project Gallery story A Busan operated ‘story A cinema’, an experimental platform that supports and screens young independent films, for 11 days from October 4 – October 15, for the 28th Busan International Film Festival.
Concept
This project was a collaboration with <Indie Ground>, Korea’s distribution and support center for independent and art films, and the <Amorepacific Foundation>, which champions youth, culture, and the arts. Our goal was to provide more opportunities for the public to experience a diverse range of independent films. Together with , we selected films that aligned with Amorepacific’s values and presented them across five curated themes: ‘Youth,’ ‘Art,’ ‘Growth,’ ‘Comfort,’ and ‘Challenge & Encouragement.’ In total, 23 independent films were introduced. Additionally, we supported the creation of new posters for films that previously had none.
