Goutal opened a brand pop-up store at a perfumer’s house in Bukchon with the concept of ‘Scent of your life’.
It was presented as a space to experience the 40 years of brand history and identity of Goutal, the first generation Parisian niche perfume brand.
We envisioned a space where guests could immerse themselves in the stories behind the scents, all inspired by Annick Goutal’s own lifestyle.
The pop-up was divided into several zones: a scent-tasting area where visitors could sample all of Goutal’s delicate and nature-inspired fragrances,
a history zone showcasing the brand’s heritage, and a central photo zone featuring a large, custom ‘perfume chandelier.’
Upon descending the stairs into the pop-up, the hanging chandelier immediately created a sense of wonder, transporting visitors to another world and immersing them in Goutal’s unique universe of fragrance.
Piano melodies filled the air, evoking the spirit of Annick Goutal, who was herself a pianist. Luxurious floral arrangements, composed of the raw ingredients found in the perfumes, captivated guests with their iconic scents.
The entire experience was designed to make visitors feel as if they had been personally invited to the Goutal house on Rue de Bellechasse in Paris during autumn.

Hand craft vintage touch
Inspired by Annick Goutal’s personal love for vintage and the brand’s deep commitment to craftsmanship, every element in the space was designed with meticulous attention to detail.
Name tags were created using handmade paper gilded with gold leaf, featuring handwriting in elegant copperplate script. Our scent promoters wore custom brooches,
handcrafted by a metal artisan to feature the Goutal emblem with a delicate, antique finish.
Annick Goutal’s father was a confectioner, and her early perfumes were famously packaged like candy. Inspired by this story, we created custom candies in rose,
black tea, and peach flavors—the key notes of our signature scents—allowing visitors to experience the fragrances through both smell and taste.
Customizing Gift
Perfume is a deeply personal discovery and a perfect gift. To enhance this, we created a customizable charm accessory.
Designed to complement the pleated lines and round shape of the Goutal bottle, the charm featured a delicate gold chain that hung from the bottle’s neck.
Customers could personalize their charm by selecting one initial and the iconic Goutal butterfly.
This complimentary service with any perfume purchase was met with overwhelmingly positive feedback and subsequently led to plans to expand it as a gift service at Goutal’s department store counters.
