MEDIAN 365 Adult Toothbrush is a companion product to MEDIAN Children’s 365 toothbrush and reinterprets the key features of the children’s toothbrush in an adult version. By utilizing colorful rainbow pastel colors rather than monotonous neutral colors, we aimed to create a daily mood and provide a pleasant brushing experience for adults. In addition, the small structured head that can clean every corner of the mouth and the stable grip shape with the rounded soft impression of a children’s toothbrush were designed to convey the daily comfort that can be easily reached 365 days a year.
Each toothbrush in the package is not only a different vibrant color but is also printed with a number from 1 to 12.
This system intuitively communicates that users should change their toothbrush once a month, helping them naturally recognize when it’s time for a replacement.
The 12 color options cater to diverse preferences, adding a fun element to the daily routine of choosing a toothbrush.
The soft, low-saturation pastel tones are designed to blend seamlessly into any bathroom decor.
The design was focused on providing a comfortable grip within a simple, minimalist form. The head is thinner than standard and tapers towards the top,
making it easy to clean every corner of the mouth. The handle gradually widens and adds volume towards the bottom, providing a secure and comfortable
grip. We noticed that many other popular minimalist toothbrushes can feel unsecure in the hand or lack an ergonomic fit. To prevent this, we tested
numerous mock-ups of the ‘365’ adult toothbrush to find a form that was comfortable despite its minimalist aesthetic. The final shape we selected
provides an excellent grip for anyone, regardless of gender or hand size.
The color palette is designed to harmonize beautifully with our existing
children’s toothbrushes, creating a complete family set for the bathroom.
