Zanmang Loopy has been selected as the new color model for Hello Cream, a DIY hair color line that allows users to choose shades based on their personal color analysis.
This is the design story for the new Hello Cream lineup, which showcases two trendy colors through Loopy’s cute, playful personality and her brand-new hairstyle.
Concept
Zanmang Loopy is a beloved character derived from Loopy, a friend of Pororo the Little Penguin, whose playful and mischievous personality has been amplified.
Our goal was to highlight Loopy’s cute and sassy charm, while also effectively showcasing Hello Cream’s trendy colors and the beautiful hair texture the product creates.
The two new shades—a trendy Lavender Black and a Toned-down Brown—are presented in hairstyles inspired by popular K-pop idols,
adding a fun element to attract our core MZ generation audience. Since the original Loopy character has no visible hair,
we carefully considered various hairstyles, poses, and angles to ensure the added long hair looked as natural as possible.
The back of the package features a four-panel comic that tells the product’s story: using Hello Cream to get gorgeous, idol-inspired hair color. Loopy’s various expressions add to the playful feel.
