ART&SCIENCE PART 1 was followed by PART 2. This project visualizes Amorepacific’s research technology using generative AI.
We reinterpreted the technology not only through visuals, but also in various ways such as exhibitions and merchandise.
We approached the concept with key points for each technology to bring it to life.
We went through a process of using various prompts to achieve the desired outcome.
We primarily used Midjourney, DALL·E, Runway, and Photoshop tools.
At the beginning of the project, we received 11 key technologies from the research institute.
The most crucial aspect of this project was not merely visualizing the technologies but accurately comprehending and interpreting their essence.
To achieve this, we focused on internalizing each technology through detailed technical explanation sessions and began by sketching potential visual ideas that could best represent their characteristics.
From these, we selected two technologies that were particularly suitable for AI-based experimentation and began our initial creative tests.
In PART 2, we sought to maintain the artistic direction established in PART 1, while transforming technologies—often perceived as abstract or complex— into visuals inspired by familiar imagery.
Rather than directly depicting scientific mechanisms, we translated their underlying principles into a “familiar yet unfamiliar” visual language, bridging the gap between technology and human perception.
Through this approach, we aimed to help viewers connect with Amorepacific’s technologies in a more emotional and intuitive way.
