This exhibition commemorates the 100-year anniversary of his birth. It also explore his journey as the founfer of Amorepacific and his dream to make the world beautiful while nurturing the beauty of huma life.
Concept
“I dreamt of growing a company where beauty is our goal, not to be the biggest.” said a young Sungwhan Suh, a consummate leader who always reached for stars. we hope the messages and questions he leaves us with throughout the exhibition will inspire and resonate with your own freams and the world we live in today.
The first section is the story of founder Sungwhan Suh, the
foundation of what Aamorepacific is today. It briefy introduces his
major achievements from the 1950s to the 1980s.
The main space features a 25-minute retrospective called “Now our sea is wider than the
Pacific,”which celebrates the 100th anniversary of Sungwhan Suh’s birth. The flim portarys his dream
of a more beautiful world and his bold endeavors to bring that dream to fruition. It is filled with
recollections of his condedicated himself to building the cosmetics business and developing Korea’s
green rea industry.
At the end of the exhibition, visitors are invited to answer questions Suh left for us to consider. We
look forward to being inspired by your unique story as you record your feelings and impressions of the
exhibition, as well as the different stories of those who appreciated it.
