Summary
We created a short video that illustrates the process of how green tea — cultivated and developed directly by Amorepacific — becomes a cosmetic ingredient.
This digital content is displayed at the INNISFREE Jeju House, allowing visitors to experience how deeply INNISFREE values both green tea and skin health.
Background
We participated in the planning phase of the Innisfree brand and Jeju House renewal project. Surrounded by vast green tea fields, we aimed to highlight green tea, the brand’s core asset.
During our research, we discovered fascinating insights about green tea and wanted to create a video that could help visitors easily understand and connect with these stories — ideally using AI tools for quick,
cost-efficient production.

0. Define the topic
Before starting the renewal project, we examined the distinct roles of the two brands that share the Seogwang Tea Garden — O’Sulloc and Innisfree.
While O’Sulloc offers a culinary experience centered on tasting tea grown in the garden, Innisfree provides a beauty experience by researching and developing green tea as a cosmetic ingredient.
From a customer’s perspective, “I drink delicious green tea at O’Sulloc” is simple and clear. However, “Innisfree makes skincare products with green tea ingredients” requires more explanation
— what components are in green tea, why they’re beneficial, and how they’re processed into skincare formulas. As we explored these details, we came to appreciate the depth of Amorepacific and
Innisfree’s dedication to green tea and skin science — and wanted customers to feel that same sincerity. While more detailed VMD elements would certainly enhance the space, we thought a short,
visually engaging video showing the journey of green tea becoming a cosmetic ingredient would be ideal. Originally envisioned as simple tablet content, the project was approached with the mindset:
“Let’s make it ourselves using only AI tool subscriptions and our own effort.”

1. Text to Image with Midjourney & Magnific
Using Midjourney, which I had become more familiar with compared to last year, I generated over 375 images related to Innisfree — including green tea plants, natural elements,
ingredients, people, and interior spaces — as part of a creative study. As expected, obtaining the perfect image on the first try was difficult.
continuous prompt refinement and iteration, I gradually created visuals that aligned with the intended concept.

From the many generated images, 11 were selected that best aligned with the intended concept and were upscaled using Magnific.
While the enhancement effect was most noticeable on character images, the other visuals also achieved a clearer, higher-resolution finish.

2. Image to Video with Runway
Using the 11 upscaled images, I created short videos with Runway. Just like with Midjourney, it required repeated prompt adjustments until the intended motion was achieved.
As generative AI tools continue to evolve, Runway’s new version produced far more natural, fluid results at a noticeably faster speed. Since the final compilation video is shown later, individual clips are omitted here.

3. Text to Audio with MixAudio
To complement the video, I decided to create background music using an AI tool and discovered MixAudio.
The site conveniently allows Korean-language prompts, and by clicking the [Prompt Genius] button after describing the desired music mood, it provides an upgraded prompt with detailed musical elements.
You can also upload reference images or audio files to guide the desired tone.

Each generation produces four short audio tracks (1–4 minutes). Once you play a track, a simple editing menu appears, allowing section rearrangement.
If a track fits well, you can generate four more similar tracks using the “Generate Similar Tracks” feature

4. Edit Video with Premiere Pro
With the short videos and music prepared, I edited them in Adobe Premiere Pro (not an AI tool).
The results were admittedly rough due to my beginner-level skills, but as AI-powered editing features continue to improve,
I believe this process will soon become much easier and more intuitive.

Output
A 1-minute-10-second video visualizing the full journey — from green tea cultivation and variety research to its transformation into a cosmetic raw material.
Review
Without AI tools, this project would have required agency collaboration, on-site filming at Jeju’s green tea fields, manufacturing facilities, and the Yongin research lab, followed by complex post-production.
There would have been significant time constraints, such as waiting for the harvest season to capture specific processes, and technical limitations
involving micro-filming ingredient research or adhering to strict confidentiality restrictions around proprietary technology.
By utilizing just a few AI tools, we overcame these limitations in time, cost, and logistics.
The need to find references, create explanatory materials, and exchange feedback was drastically reduced, resulting in higher workflow efficiency and fewer peripheral tasks.
Of course, the quality and skill level of a non-professional creator have their limits, so this type of AI-generated work is most appropriate as supplementary sub-content in real-world applications.
Still, as AI tools continue to evolve rapidly and users accumulate hands-on expertise, I feel both excitement and anticipation—along with a bit of tension—about the extent to which AI will continue to reshape and expand creative expression in the future.
