We have planned a cultural and artistic venue that embodies Sulwhasoo’s philosophy of true beauty through the meeting of heritage that contains Korean tradition and modern sensibility.
CONCEPT
Salon Sulwhasoo is a cultural space where tradition and modernity
converge to thoughtfully contemplate Korean aesthetics.
This project, which intertwines the profoundness of tradition with the
sophistication of modernity, presents new layers of emotional resonance
crafted by artists, brands, and spaces.
Situated in Bukchon, Seoul, ‘Sulwhasoo House’ hosts Salon Sulwhasoo, a
venue designed to delve into contemporary aesthetics and philosophy within
a space that encapsulates the essence of time.
Sulwhasoo recognized the necessity for a novel platform to share its long-standing philosophy of ‘holistic beauty’ with customers in a more profound and meaningful manner.
Beyond merely offering a product experience, Salon Sulwhasoo was conceived to disseminate the brand’s cultural values and aesthetics.
Salon Sulwhasoo endeavors to solidify the brand experience through the following four key points:
1. Exchanges with Artists_
Engage in exchanges with contemporary artists from various disciplines to broaden the aesthetic lexicon of the brand.
2. Experience of Traditional Culture_
Immerse in a sensory experience that modernly interprets tradition – allowing customers to discover their unique ‘Sulwhasoo.’

Capturing the Beauty of Eastern & Western
Shin Sun-ah, a floral artist from Cheongnokhwa, conducted a talk on the theme of ‘Harmony of Eastern and Western Aesthetics.’ The event featured
a sensory installation that filled Bukchon ‘Sulwhasoo House’ with floral objects, along with a Christmas wreath-making experience using
Sulwhasoo ornaments, offering customers a deeply immersive time.
We planned the event so that guests could enjoy traditional Korean refreshments and ginseng tea infused with the essence of Sulwhasoo.
We engaged in an enriching activity of crafting Christmas wreaths, each uniquely adorned with ornaments
from Sulwhasoo House in Bukchon. The array of creations provided our customers with an intellectually stimulating and memorable experience.
