Olympia Le-Tan, who made waves in the European street fashion scene by incorporating embroidery into clutch bags, draws her artistic inspiration from her father, an illustrator. At just 19, she began her full-time design career at Karl Lagerfeld Studio. Her signature item—a book-shaped clutch made of embroidered fabric—has become a symbol of her unique style. For her 2015 S/S collection, the chosen graphic motif was crayons, a playful and nostalgic symbol. In her collaboration with HERA, crayons appear on the packaging, reinforcing the concept that makeup brings color to the face, just like crayons to paper.
