Summary
We designed an exhibition space at Mamonde Garden in Osan to convey the essence of Mamonde’s research on flowers. With the launch of Red Energy Serum, we organized a blazing lab space to express the product’s core technology, blazing energy, and created the Red Energy space as a climactic space to express the essence of the product.
We designed the spatial flow in line with the content, enabling visitors to experience Mamonde’s research history and seamlessly transition to the new content, *Blossoming Energy*.
At the entrance, we created a transitional space that evokes the feeling of stepping into a flower garden, incorporating natural elements such as soil areas and preserved flowers to subtly engage the senses of smell and touch within the space.
To create an exhibition design that stimulates all five senses, we incorporated auditory elements as well. In the powerful red room, which embodies the strength of flowers, every sensory element was crafted to deliver a dramatic experience.
Material
In line with Mamonde’s brand philosophy of caring for flowers and the environment, we set out to create an exhibition space using eco-friendly materials that would not harm the environment. While sourcing waste materials, we faced unexpected difficulties in finding ones in good condition. By chance, we came across high-quality wooden boxes originally made for logistics exports, and by repurposing them, we were able to craft fixtures that achieved excellent results despite being made from waste materials.
