Building on this design heritage, innisfree’s new men’s line, Forest for Men, is designed with four products – skin, lotion, and all-in-one essence – that are inspired by nature and personalized for millennial men.
Concept
The Innisfree Forest for Men line features a square design that subtly resembles a circle. Inspired by stones naturally smoothed by the sea over time, the soft-square form is crafted in a minimal size that fits comfortably in one hand, enhancing grip and ease of use.
The cutting line at the top of the cap contrasts with the soft curves of the body, highlighting the product’s unique character. The skin, lotion, and essence are all designed to be the same height, enhancing the overall sense of refinement and cohesiveness.
The Forest for Men line embodies the harmonious colors found in nature.
For the basic line’s skin and lotion, the mysterious blue hue expresses the strong vitality of Jeju’s Gotjawal moss, the main ingredient, while the black-gray cap reflects the deep tone of basalt—the bedrock where the moss grows—creating a cohesive visual identity.
The all-in-one essence combines gray and black-gray in balanced harmony, inspired by black yeast, its key ingredient. The accent colors applied to the top pump represent four skin concerns—pore care, trouble care, sensitive skin, and anti-aging—enabling male consumers to intuitively understand each product’s benefits. A color bar placed at the center of the product is graphically rendered to highlight its functional nature while making it easy to distinguish between product types.
