To communicate the core values of IOPE, a high-performance skincare brand, we selected a series of innovative hero products and developed digital content that clearly and compellingly conveys each product’s breakthrough technology and benefits. Moving beyond traditional, information-heavy formats, we created intuitive and impactful 3D motion graphics, infused with the distinct visual identity of artist Hong Sung-woo, enhancing both product understanding and emotional appeal for consumers. To elevate the storytelling further, each video features a custom audio track by artist Kim Sun-woo, whose original sound design effectively amplifies the visual motion and scientific narrative.

We aimed to visually dramatize the transformation from rough to clear, translucent skin through the use of Bio Conditioning Essence. The spatial design and lighting were carefully crafted to create a bright and soft atmosphere. Abstract spaces spark curiosity, while organic lines metaphorically represent the inner layers of the skin. The formulation was highlighted through luminous lighting, accompanied by sound effects that enhance tactile understanding. Contrasting sound cues before and after the transformation—such as the sound of a ball rolling—underscore the dramatic skin improvement.

BENEFIT: Improved elasticity
A vivid yellow palette and bright, cheerful visuals intuitively convey the high concentration of vitamin C. To emphasize its elasticity benefits, the focus was placed on depicting the resilient texture of the vitamin sphere. Scenes of the ball restoring its shape after impact visually illustrate elasticity, while rhythmic editing enhances the dynamic energy of the video. A combination of wide and close-up shots creates visual tension and keeps the experience engaging.

SKIN SCIENCE: Stabilized proprietary patented formulation
This video shows how the vitamin compound remains stable and uncontaminated against external stressors. The bouncing ball, reminiscent of a pinball machine, adds visual intrigue. Elements such as concrete blocks, shattered glass, and dust symbolize urban pollutants that are harmful to skin. The transparent yellow coating represents the oil layer protecting the vitamin, while the inner sphere signifies the pure vitamin content. The mystique is heightened with sensory sound effects representing the oil’s texture and a zero-gravity ambiance.

BENEFIT: Wrinkle improvement
Even a small amount of retinol delivers significant wrinkle-reducing benefits. A bold close-up of a blue sphere (symbolizing retinol) introduces its importance. A snow-covered field represents the skin’s surface, while hills and creases suggest wrinkles. The clean, minimal visuals focus on clearly conveying the product’s effect. Rising sound cues enhance tension, and well-synchronized audio effects amplify the impactful delivery of the product benefit.
This video illustrates Cube Cell technology, which protects retinol from external degradation. When retinol particles collide, a wall dynamically forms to shield them, preventing breakdown. The complex concept is made accessible through a simple, repetitive visual structure. To maintain viewer engagement, the camera movements and barrier directions were finely tuned. Repetitive loop animations paired with crisp sound effects subtly embed the message in the viewer’s subconscious.
The content was released as a series on IOPE’s Instagram, sparking curiosity and interest by offering a fresh and differentiated approach from previous content. It was also applied to limited edition product packaging, serving as a bridge between digital and offline channels. Moving forward, we aim to further leverage scenes from these videos as a new communication tool to introduce the brand and its products across both digital and offline touchpoints.
