Summary
Aritta Heukche, Korea’s first Chinese business font, embodies the contemporary beauty of women as envisioned by AMOREPACIFIC.
In China, there is a saying: “Handwriting reflects the person” (字如其人, ja-yeo-gi-in)—it is believed that handwriting reveals one’s character. Aritta is a gentle and refined script that expresses the elegance and inner strength of modern women. It portrays women who are independent yet composed, bold yet naturally graceful. Like sketching the portrait of an admired woman, the font’s design was inspired by three expressions: jeong-jeong-ok-rip (fair, slim, and graceful), ja-yeon-mi-ryeo (natural beauty), and gi-un-saeng-dong (rhythmic vitality). In 2017, the Aritta Heukche font family was completed with the addition of two new weights to the original main-text version released in June 2016, bringing the total to three styles.
