The logic of Happy Bath’s Functional Line has been revamped by graphically highlighting the function names—also key product features—on the front of the packaging.
By removing unnecessary design elements, the essential product information is communicated more clearly to customers.
This logic was applied to the pH 4.5 Feminine Cleanser, and the design was developed to fit naturally within lifestyle settings, enhancing the product’s overall appeal.
Concept
The pH 4.5 Feminine Cleanser is formulated with safe ingredients at the optimal mildly acidic pH of 4.5, designed to enhance the skin’s resistance
and protect it from external stressors. The design approach aimed to simultaneously convey the gentle, low-irritant formula and the feminine tone of a women-specific product.
To strongly communicate the product’s unique qualities, we moved away from the conventional use of diverse natural ingredient imagery. Instead, we
selected a soft, calm color that intuitively reflects the product name and designated it as the main color for the feminine hygiene line. A white
label was used to maintain consistency with Happy Bath’s modernized brand look. The functional feature, pH 4.5, was visualized graphically on the
front of the product to deliver the message clearly and directly.
In product communication visuals, we shifted the focus from showcasing raw ingredients to emphasizing the product’s unique formula.
By capturing how the texture changes when the formula interacts with different materials, we revealed the product’s characteristics while creating a sophisticated and emotive atmosphere.
