Summary
The makeON pop-up store was strategically designed to offer an immersive brand experience, centered around the newly introduced devices for the first half of 2025: the Skin Light Therapy 3S and the Gem Sono Therapy Relief. The store emphasizes hands-on engagement with makeON’s product offerings, while also presenting the brand’s full lineup, comprehensive product information, and a variety of promotional events that reflect the core values of the makeON brand.
This initiative was internally proposed as part of a discovery project aimed at identifying innovative methods to showcase our diverse portfolio of brands, products, and technological expertise to consumers. Leveraging the “Narration Orange” pop-up space located in the basement of the Amorepacific World Headquarters, the project seeks to provide an open and accessible experience for employees, local residents, and international visitors alike.

The first thing you see when you enter the store is the wall to the right of the entrance, which shows the entire product line-up along with makeON’s brand values. As this is the first pop-up for the beauty device brand, we designed the zoning to showcase the brand’s worldview and to help customers understand the makeON brand from the first step.

We created furniture that varied in height to match the curve of the pillar located in the centre of the store,
and composed of product description VMDs for ‘Skin Light Therapy 3S’ and ‘Gem Sono Therapy Relief’.
Especially for ‘Skin Light Therapy 3S’, which contains various functions in one product, we wanted to deliver maximum information to customers
by visualising the online detailed page, including product functions and skin improvement effects.
For the upper hanging production, we wanted to increase the credibility of the product by impacting the product effect proved by numbers.

The back wall of the pop-up store is a space where customers can freely experience ‘Skin Light Therapy 3S’ and ‘Gem Sono Therapy Relief’.
The modular wall was used to create a removable mirror that can be used continuously, and on the existing shelves,
customers can experience products connected to the makeON app and participate in the event through the experience card provided.

The counter is the last stop for customers to submit their experience cards and receive their event prizes. On the back wall, we created a new shelf to showcase the brand once again through visuals. And since it’s not a pop-up where sales are made, we used showcards on the table to guide customers on how to purchase online and offline.
