Summary
The HERA Signia line redefines the brand’s distinctive sculptural language with balance, based on its signature forms of the circle and square, expressed through restrained silhouettes and refined detailing. By combining a cylindrical structure with transparent square elements and applying the ‘Hera Facet’ design, a consistent and distinctive design identity unique to Signia is realized. Depth is created through the light reflection of the metal cap, while the vertical striations engraved on both the container and the cap subtly capture and diffuse light, resulting in a more refined surface texture. These details enrich the three-dimensional quality of the form and convey a sense of luxury through the delicate material finish. In addition, the design completion of the Signia line is further enhanced by incorporating the refined form created by the FACET structure, a stable and comfortable grip in hand, and a refillable system that reflects sustainability.
Heritage of SIGNIA
Launched in 2015, HERA SIGNIA represents the brand’s high-end skincare line, embodying a refined harmony of understated luxury, heritage, and contemporary beauty. Following the launch of a high-end illuminating serum in 2025—seamlessly integrating HERA’s skincare heritage with the identity of SIGNIA—the 2026 renewal introduces a new design across the entire SIGNIA line.

HERA’s first skincare (1995)
Drawing inspiration from HERA’s 1995 skincare design—still modern and relevant even after more than a decade—the design carries forward a timeless harmony rooted in the geometric balance of circle and square. The two forms are designed to hold equal presence, establishing a new sense of balance. The intersecting square edges are refined with a clean chamfer, forming the ‘HERA Facet’ structure, which is applied as a unified design language. The precision of these details refines what could otherwise feel rigid, elevating the form into a sophisticated elegance.

SIGNIA, Defined by Light
The essence of SIGNIA lies in light and texture. Inheriting the design identity of “an elegant radiance completed through light and texture,” delicate hairline finishes are applied to both the metal cap and the container. The softly expressed texture on the metal surface interacts with the light-filled transparency of the container, maximizing their interplay. Through a refined form stripped of unnecessary ornamentation, the design reveals its presence through light-reflective textures.

Commitment to Sustainability
A new system, reinterpreting the heritage refill design first introduced in HERA’s initial skincare line in 1995, has been applied in a modern way. For the serum line, the design allows for intuitive refilling without the need to twist or disassemble separate components—simply lifting the pump separates the inner glass vial containing the formula. A clean, detachable refill system has also been applied to the Core Lifting Serum, Cream, and Eye Cream containers. For the Signia Water and Emulsion bottles, lightweight glass is used to reduce weight by approximately 50% compared to previous versions, while minimizing material usage overall.

SIGNIA Gift Package
The gift package extends the same sculptural language as the product design. By applying the ‘Facet’ form as a graphic motif, the structural identity is consistently carried across the entire package, while a hairline finish is expressed on the surface. This is not merely a decorative element, but a device to ensure that the brand’s core sculptural philosophy is seamlessly connected through to the final touchpoint of the experience.

A sheer fabric material, subtly revealing the box design beneath, is also applied to add an additional layer of emotional experience—gently enveloping the package through its materiality. The transparent, layered structure visually embodies the concept of “Layered with Heart – a gift wrapped with an extra layer of care,” allowing anticipation to build progressively until the moment the gift is opened.

The soft fabric wrapping contrasts with the refined structural package inside, simultaneously conveying the restrained elegance and warm authenticity that SIGNIA aspires to. More than simply a container for the product, the gift package is conceived as a “layer of experience” that adds an additional dimension of the brand’s philosophy and sensibility.

This renewal of the SIGNIA line goes beyond a simple package design update; it is a redefinition of HERA’s heritage in a contemporary language. Beginning with the fundamental forms of the circle and square, it organically connects light and texture, structure and usability, as well as sustainability—aiming to embody the brand’s vision of “balanced beauty” in a multidimensional way.
