Concept
To showcase the subtle differences among the 12 shades—developed through professional makeup expertise and research on Asian skin tones—the packaging was designed in black to create a striking contrast with the product inside.
Rather than the ‘chic’ image previously associated with Hera, the focus shifted to energy and vitality, uniting the product and brand’s iconic imagery under a single global message: “Black is always right.” Centered on the launch of a new foundation following the success of the Black Cushion, this approach maximized excitement and attention around the product.
