The New Glow Lasting Foundation creates a dewy, luminous glow that lasts all day. The nude-toned color and transparent container that showcases the charm of the Glow Sting Foundation has been changed to an eco-friendly container with a silky stay. It is designed to enhance the appeal of the refined brand with HERA’s own formative language in harmony with the concealer and makeup fixer released in September and October.
Concept
HERA’s Glow Lasting Foundation accentuates the facial contours with a clear, dewy radiance that enhances the skin’s natural texture, creating a vibrant look that lasts all day.
To embody these qualities in the packaging, we adopted the nude color palette of the HERA Skin Radiant Cushion, which also has a semi-glow finish.
Furthermore, a glossy finish was applied to the glass bottle to clearly showcase the formula inside, allowing light to pass through and maximizing the appearance of its luminous, moisture-rich texture.
Efforts Toward Environmental Sustainability
The HERA brand is also deeply committed to sustainability.
In developing the new Glow Lasting Foundation packaging, we removed the plastic base used on the existing Silky Stay bottle to improve recyclability.
We also reduced unnecessary volume, resulting in a 39.2% decrease in plastic use compared to the previous bottle.
The Silky Stay Foundation has also been updated with this new packaging, and both products now use 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic for their inner caps as part of our commitment to the environment.
The Evolution of HERA Base Makeup
We have strengthened our base makeup lineup with the launch of the new ‘Glow Lasting Foundation,’ ‘Creamy Cover Concealer,’ and ‘Makeup Fixer.’
These new products feature a design that harmoniously blends circular and square forms, effectively conveying a consistent brand image.
We also minimized unnecessary ornamentation, using a simple yet elegant combination of straight and curved lines to enhance the modern appeal of the base makeup collection.
This new lineup and design reflect HERA’s philosophy of “Seoul Beauty”—the belief that everyone can discover and confidently express their own unique beauty.
SPACE DESIGN
With the relaunch of the ‘NEW Glow Lasting Foundation,’ HERA’s offline retail spaces have also been redesigned.
Using the keywords #Radiant, #Reflect, and #Lively, we aimed to express a ‘clear, flowing, hydrated radiance.’
This was achieved with a transparent, wave-like acrylic display where products are set at varying heights, creating a sense of vitality and the feeling of the foundation reflecting on water.
In the product testing area, the new foundation is displayed harmoniously alongside the Silky Stay Foundation, allowing customers to see HERA’s representative foundation lines together.
