Project Background and Objectives
During the planning process for ILLIYOON’s global pop-up space, we developed the necessary spatial content using AI.
The purpose of the AI-generated content was twofold: First, To create model visuals tailored to each country’s demographics for ILLIYOON’s pop-up spaces in four ASEAN countries,
ensuring the visuals are both culturally relatable and copyright-free.
The second, To visually express ILLIYOON’s complex product technologies through AI, helping customers better understand the science behind the brand.
Chapter 1. Global Model Visuals
We developed country-specific model images that represent the product’s universality—showing that anyone, regardless of race, gender, or age, can use it comfortably.
These model visuals were completed through a four-step process: 1.Using ChatGPT to analyze country-specific facial traits. 2.Generating images in Midjourney.
3.Refining facial details with Magnific. 4.Making final adjustments in Firefly.
Initial Character Images
Initially, we created diverse model images without specifying any particular country, focusing on varied races and age groups.
While the racial diversity was captured effectively, the subtle distinctions between ILLIYOON’s target countries were not fully reflected.
Using ChatGPT to Identify Country-Specific Character Traits
To define selection criteria for Midjourney’s randomly generated model images, we analyzed the facial characteristics of individuals from ILLIYOON’s target markets — Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
Using ChatGPT, we compiled lists of popular male and female actors and models from their teens to their 50s for each country, studying their distinctive features and preferred aesthetics.

Utilizing the Describe Feature to Reflect the Brand Mood
We also incorporated the mood of ILLIYOON’s newly revealed model—unveiled midway through the project—into the visual direction.
By using Midjourney’s Describe feature with existing model images, we extracted first-round prompts and regenerated visuals based on those prompts,
adjusting the photo tones and poses to align with the updated brand atmosphere.

The final selected visuals were refined using Magnific, enhancing resolution and naturally correcting overly smooth, artificial skin textures.
This process allowed us to transform overly polished images into realistic and natural-looking model visuals that better represented ILLIYOON’s brand authenticity.

Country-Specific Final Main Model Visuals
Based on ILLIYOON’s existing model, we created main model visuals for four countries — Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
The overall tone emphasizes cleanliness and calmness, with each model’s outfit incorporating ILLIYOON’s signature brand colors.
Through the expressions, gestures, and atmosphere of each model, we aimed to convey the brand’s distinct sense of comfort and gentleness.
Country-Specific Sub-Model Visuals
We also produced sub-model images for each country. These visuals include diverse age groups and genders,
emphasizing that ILLIYOON products are suitable and comfortable for everyone, regardless of demographic differences.
Chapter 2. Ingredient Technology 3D Graphics
To help customers easily understand ILLIYOON’s advanced skincare technology, we created images and motion graphics.
We first used ChatGPT to derive suitable prompts, then iteratively generated and refined images using Midjourney and Adobe Firefly.
The finalized visuals were animated using Runway, completing the final motion graphic sequence.

Phyto CeramideTM
ILLIYOON products contain Phyto Ceramide, a unique ceramide that closely resembles the skin’s natural composition.
In nature, there are 12 types of ceramides, each with different molecular lengths.
This variety in size allows the skin barrier to be densely filled, much like filling a cup with balls of different sizes—creating fewer gaps.
Typical ceramides used in cosmetics have uniform molecular lengths, whereas Phyto Ceramide consists of multiple ceramides of varying sizes, enabling it to strengthen
the skin barrier more effectively and mimic the skin’s natural structure more closely.
Capsule Technology
ILLIYOON stabilizes high concentrations of ceramides—normally difficult to maintain—by encapsulating them. These micro-capsules dissolve gently in the skin’s slightly acidic environment, ensuring stable ceramide delivery while minimizing skin irritation.
After explaining the ingredient technology to ChatGPT, we extracted prompts that would make image generation more effective and aligned with the intended scientific concept.

Image Generation Using Midjourney
Using the extracted prompts, we generated approximately 160 ingredient images through Midjourney.
The Style Reference feature was utilized to fine-tune the results and achieve visuals closer to the desired look.
For each reference image, multiple stylistic variations were produced.

Image Re-Editing Using Firefly
The images generated in Midjourney were re-edited in Adobe Firefly, gradually refining them with additional details to align with the intended concept.
Images with satisfactory forms were used as shape reference images, while style reference images were applied to combine preferred elements such as texture,
lighting, and color tone, creating a more cohesive and visually appealing result.
Final 3D Graphics for Ingredient Technology
Through these processes, we completed the final 3D graphics visualizing ILLIYOON’s ingredient technology.
The final visuals illustrate Phyto Ceramide Technology, showcasing densely packed ceramide particles of varying
sizes and the stable delivery and absorption of encapsulated ceramide components into the skin.
Motion Graphics Production Using Runway
The finalized 3D graphics were converted into motion graphics using Runway.
First, the opening and closing frames were created in Photoshop as two separate images.
Then, the desired movement was input through prompts.
When creating the frames, only the positions of the spheres inside the transparent capsules were altered—keeping the background fixed to emphasize the dynamic motion of the ceramides.
The final content created using AI and applied to the pop-up space is shown below.
