Summary
Last year’s much-loved and iF Award-winning ‘Bubble Gazing Exhibition: Sensations Amplified Like Bubbles,
Moments Carried Away by Scent,’ originally presented at storyA, was brought back on a much larger scale at Yongin Everland.
For about a month, from May 3rd to June 4th, the expanded exhibition welcomed even more visitors.
The ‘Bubble Gazing Exhibition’ was a space where visitors could experience the newly renovated Happy Bath Original Collection.
In line with the brand’s ‘Happy Moments’ slogan, the exhibition was designed to maximize the sensory experience of a bath—sight,
sound, smell, and touch—to evoke a pure feeling of happiness. With the larger venue, we were able to enhance the experience with scaled-up foam installations and additional content.

“Bubble Gazing Exhibition: Sensations
amplified like bubbles, moments carried away by scent”
In our busy daily lives, we experience countless sensations.
Some we fully savor; others pass by completely unnoticed.
This exhibition shines a light on those moments
that are so routine we often fail to register them.
We capture the ordinary act—turning on the shower, lathering up,
washing the day away—from a fresh perspective, expressing
it as a sensory experience that maximizes sight, sound, smell, and touch.
Through this amplification of subtle sensations,
we hope visitors can rediscover the moments
of happiness embedded in their everyday lives.
Amid the magical sight of foam turning white in water
and scents that evoke happy memories, we invite you
to an experience that expands your senses and sensibilities.
01. Bubble Play
The ‘Bubble Play’ zone invited visitors to create their own soap bubbles amidst giant, bubble-like balloons floating in the air.
Upon entering, the sheer scale of these balloons created an extraordinary, otherworldly atmosphere.
At the center, a large circular table (approx. 2m in diameter) was illuminated with a projection of the brand slogan:
“Happy Scent, Clean Bubbles – HAPPYBATH.” The table was equipped with tools for free play, evoking the familiar, happy memories of childhood, but on a grand and unfamiliar scale that created a new sense of joy for families and friends.
02. Bubble OSV
In one corner, we created the ‘Bubble OSV (Oddly Satisfying Video)’ experience,
a space to focus on the sights and sounds of bubbles and scents.
The OSV, featuring various forms of bubbles combined with the ASMR of them popping,
offered a unique and unfamiliar sense of pleasure. Staring blankly at the moments
of bubbles forming and fading away created a strangely joyful feeling.
The video was a re-edited compilation of bubble-
and water-themed footage from the Creative Center’s ‘Healing Times’ content series.
03. Scent Atelier
This space allowed visitors to experience the products and scents of Happy Bath,
the ‘fragrance expert.’ At the Scent Atelier, guests could discover products featuring nine different signature scents.
They could test fragrances sprinkled on pebbles or experience them in a unique way via the large balloons floating throughout the exhibition.
Scented ribbons were attached to these balloons, which visitors could pull down to smell. Each ribbon also had an emotive description of the scent, allowing for a deeper experience.
04. Bubble Walk
The main space of the exhibition was the ‘Bubble Walk,’
which offered the extraordinary experience of walking through a giant cloud of foam.
In the center of the dark hall, a huge island of white foam gathered.
Though appearing weightless, the foam was dense and did not easily dissipate, allowing visitors to touch it and even blow it around.
Guests could enjoy a ‘bubble trance’ by simply gazing at the foam swaying and sparkling in the light, or they could play in it freely.
A foam waterfall cascaded from the high ceiling, creating a captivating, dreamlike scene,
while lighting that shifted through mysterious colors transported the audience into an even more fantastical moment.
05. Bathroom Display
A photo zone was created with a bathtub and a large mirror to evoke a bathroom atmosphere, perfect for taking mirror selfies.
This allowed us to reinforce the product’s identity in the minds of the audience one last time. As they concluded their tour,
visitors could take a final photo in this styled zone as a memento of their experience.
06. Bubble Sound & BGM
Inside the exhibition, the gentle sounds of bubbles and water played as a constant background BGM.
This created an unrealistic, immersive feeling, as if visitors had stepped into a body of water or a giant bathtub.
Lyrical and dreamlike music was interspersed with the sounds, further enhancing the exhibition’s mood.
Outro
Over approximately one month, the exhibition was visited by a total of 37,000 people, with a daily average of 1,125.
This number exceeded our initial expectations, and we are deeply fulfilled that so many visitors to Everland were able to experience the exhibition and take home joyful memories.
We felt the exhibition perfectly aligned with Everland’s slogan, ‘The Land of Dreams and Fantasy.’
Watching everyone—from children to adults, families to couples—enjoying the bubbles and scents of Happy Bath in their own way, we were able to discover the true meaning of a ‘happy moment.’
We hope that the happiness shared by everyone at the ‘Bubble Gazing Exhibition’ lingers long after, like a bubble that never pops.
