The IOPE Sun Patch introduces a new product category within the IOPE lineup, expanding upon the existing UV Shield range. Designed specifically for
sports and outdoor activities, the Sun Patch delivers a unique form of usability distinct from traditional sun care formats. Its design highlights a
more dynamic and purpose-driven aesthetic while maintaining the core identity of IOPE.
Concept
As a new type of product for the brand, the design goal was to strike the right balance between its functional purpose and distribution channel,
creating a look that moves beyond IOPE’s usual rational, refined style toward a more assertive and persuasive visual approach.
To improve comfort and fit across diverse facial structures, custom cut
lines—unavailable in competitor products—were incorporated, enhancing the product’s wearability.
The packaging emphasizes differentiation from existing products, utilizing bold POP visuals and
high-visibility typography to clearly communicate the product’s unique features and intended use.
