Mise en Scène Perfect No Wash Water Treatment is a no-rinse treatment with a hair primer effect that provides heat protection and 24-hour curl hold. It is a wattage type product that is applied in the desired amount to the desired areas and is non-greasy, non-sticky and non-slippery. The ultra-low molecular weight water formulation is lighter than a cream, so even on blow-dried hair, it keeps hair bouncy without stretching or sagging.
Product Design
Our goal was to create a unique identity for the No-Wash line that would differentiate it from the other lines within the Mise-en-scène Perfect Serum range. Our design logic was to take inspiration from the product’s milky color, applying a low-saturation pastel tone across the entire container. For the print, we chose a slightly darker, tone-on-tone color from the same family to create a soft and approachable look. The packaging was chosen to match the formula: the thicker cream pack is in a tube, while the watery treatment is in a bottle with a pointed cap for precise application.
Visual
For our product photography, we maintained the same lighting and composition style as the main Perfect Serum line’s visuals for consistency. However, we prominently featured the unique textures of the No-Wash formulas, allowing consumers to easily see the difference in each product’s consistency. Additionally, we used the products’ pastel tones in the background to further enhance the soft, gentle aesthetic of the No-Wash line.
