of annual CFT (Category Focus Team) operational tasks. Every month, the brand aspires to differentiate itself by featuring exclusive
KakaoTalk-specific promotions and launching new initiatives. In alignment with this strategy, HERA has devised a unique romantic
project for Valentine’s Day and White Day, designed to help express affection to loved ones. This approach underscores HERA’s
commitment to innovation and customer engagement through creative marketing efforts tailored to significant seasonal events.
The project, titled ‘LOVE ON TOP’, aims to materialize the image of love layered upon itself, reaching the pinnacle of affection. It includes the
creation of ‘love candles’ that kindle a ritual of passion, and scratch cards that offer an element of surprise. These items are designed to offer
a romantic season of love, exclusively available through the KakaoTalk Gift channel.
Valentine Scratch Coupon : LOVE ALWAYS WINS
For Valentine’s Day in February, we planned a scratch coupon event with the goal of generating 13,000 customer reviews and boosting seasonal sales.
To draw attention to the coupon visuals, the coupon case was die-cut into a heart shape so that, when inserted, the coupon completed a full image scene.
The one-week scratch coupon event yielded approximately 3,500 reviews across four target products, achieving remarkable results.
The front of the package features lip products and romantic objects placed inside a glass cup, topped with a love candle symbolizing the peak of affection.
To emphasize the main focal point—the glass image—we applied selective UV gloss coating and black ink on the logo to highlight intricate details.
Unlike the existing horizontal *HERA KakaoTalk Gift Regular Small Package*, the Limited Edition version adopted a vertical format.
A wide double-sided ribbon material was boldly applied to capture attention and add a sense of festivity.
The package structure itself was redesigned with a bottom flap that can be opened and closed without damaging the ribbon wrapping, ensuring ease of use.
The side panels feature a photographed gradient background rather than a solid color, creating a seamless visual flow that naturally connects with the real-life image on the front.

Inspired by the concept of a cherry on top of a cake—symbolizing the layers of love that accumulate for someone special—this idea evolved into the March White Day Limited Edition Package.
With the hope of conveying affection through the heart-shaped design, the theme “LOVE ON TOP” was brought to life.
The candle body was shaped like intertwined cherries and hearts, while the curved wick resembled a cherry stem, suggesting a special moment to be remembered when lighting the candle or displaying it as a decorative piece.
We also infused the vintage pink tone of the love candles into the content and experimented with placing a real-life image on the front of the package for the first time.
