Vitalbeauty’s inner beauty products have met the Barbie character, representing the confident modern woman. This collaboration includes a total
of three products: Super Collagen All-in-one Booster, Super Retinol C and Super Collagen Lift Shot along with a limited edition Barbie mirror keychain.
Every girl probably remembers wanting to have their own Barbie doll at least once. With neon pink and Barbie packaging matched to each product concept, we hope this will spark a new desire to own for customers who haven’t yet experienced inner beauty products.
Primary package
Given that health supplements are taken daily, they are often carried in bags or kept on desks and dining tables.
However, from the customer’s perspective, such repetitive routines can become monotonous, and products may be easily forgotten.
The new Barbie Limited Edition packaging refreshes the product’s image for existing customers—encouraging continued use—while capturing the attention of new customers and inviting them to try the product.
The main background colors of each item—white, mint, and yellow—match the original product colors, allowing new customers introduced through the Barbie collaboration to easily recognize the products and encouraging repeat purchases.
Although the product formats—dual-chamber ampoules, liquid pouches, and powder pouches—vary slightly in size and proportion, the design details were carefully adjusted to ensure that Barbie’s image appears in a consistent size and scale across all items.
Secondary package
The display box was designed to evoke the excitement of discovering a Barbie doll package—featuring a large image of Barbie framed in pink, as if she were about to leap out at any moment.
Wrapped in iconic Barbie pink with a subtle neon glow, the display box made a striking impression, immediately drawing attention upon entering Olive Young stores.
Each Barbie image was carefully matched to the characteristics of the corresponding product.
For Super Collagen All-in-One Booster, which combines vitamins and collagen for fast and powerful skincare, we selected an image of a career-driven Barbie who is busy yet strives for perfection.
Super Retinol C, designed to deliver a bright and radiant complexion, was paired with cheerful and energetic Barbie friends, while *Super Collagen Lift Shot*, which provides comprehensive body care, featured a Barbie image that accentuates her body lines.
Visual
We filmed moving images using a miniature shopping cart and basket inspired by Barbie’s iconic cart.
Coincidentally, one of our team members owned an actual Barbie doll, allowing us to capture a playful scene of the doll pushing the tiny cart.
The basket was animated by the team member’s own hands to create lively and entertaining shots. (We also came to appreciate just how important professional hand models are…)
