Dolpoong Teams Emoji
Summary
We produced a set of ‘Dolpoong’ emojis for use on Microsoft Teams, our internal messaging platform.
Centered on Dolpoong from the APBADAS character lineup, this set was designed to cover a wide range of needs, from delivering basic feedback to expressing diverse emotions.
We also incorporated designs capable of horizontal and vertical combinations, enabling more unique and playful usage.
We anticipate that the Dolpoong emojis will help soften the tone of internal communication and naturally ease the flow of conversation within teams.
Concept
The Teams emoji set was curated around situations frequently encountered in actual internal communication environments.
We prioritized expressions for scenarios common in daily work—such as replies, gratitude, surprise, questions, awkward moments, and celebrations—and incorporated them into the designs.
Additionally, for instances requiring simple feedback, we designed the emojis to feature Dolpoong holding a signboard to enable intuitive communication. We also introduced a megaphone-concept emoji for announcements or notices, ensuring a natural visual connection with the Dolpoong character.

In addition to Dolpoong, we incorporated other APBADAS friends to broaden the range of expression and enhance the emotional and fun elements.
We also added supplementary graphic elements that can be paired with the emojis, allowing users to enjoy the process of combining and decorating their message bubbles during conversations.
