Summary
The new black cushion has evolved into a design that can be sympathized with now through more refined and simple formations to realize the beauty of Hera’s own, while also implementing an improved functional upgrade in terms of usability.
Concept
While maintaining the heritage of the brand’s signature black cushion, the logo has been renewed in a delicate and sophisticated manner by removing the nameplate and inserting a separate piece.
The container features subtle curves that appear simple and straight but create a three-dimensional sensation when viewed in person, enhancing the design details.
Additionally, the matte logo piece, which perfectly aligns with the engraved logo, contrasts with the glossy container, giving it a confident presence.
The shape of the lower container was designed with usability in mind, enhancing details by slightly recessing the design inward rather than mirroring the upper container in a 1:1 ratio.
Various sculptural studies were conducted to achieve the sculptural details.
The box is designed in a way that contrasts with the container design, with a matte finish that gives a textured feel overall.
The logo and product name are applied with silver foil to create a contrast between glossy and matte,
and a coating with a granular texture was applied to consider the tactile feel when touching the box.
The diverse appearance of the black cushion, which changes depending on the light, resembles the image of a Seoulista that Hera aspires to.
