The Hera Perfumed line serves as a means to showcase the brand’s story and persona, and it is a strategic category that enhances brand value.
The renovation aims to gradually strengthen and expand the fragrance and body line to reinforce the unique luxury and identity of the Hera
brand. By renewing the looks of existing heritage assets like “Zeal” and “Velvet Night,” we focused on storytelling through the fragrance
itself and proposed modern designs for perfumes that can later expand into different notes. Additionally, the body line, including shower
gels and body lotions that complement the fragrances, has also been revamped to allow for an expansion of the same fragrance types. The
renewal process, which began in January 2024, includes the launch of a new fragrance, Persoff, in February, thereby gradually
strengthening the perfume line.
EAU DE PARFUM
The bottle design intuitively embodies the essence of a contemporary Seoul beauty brand, achieving a restrained yet edgy form.
With Hera’s signature symbol cap engraving, the design flows seamlessly from the sharply defined shoulders to the sleek glass body, exuding modern luxury.
To highlight the distinct color heritage of Jiil and Velvet Night, the glass bottle features a red-to-black gradient, while both the shoulder and cap are finished in refined black.
An in-depth label study was conducted to best capture each fragrance’s mood: – Jiil features a passionate red label with black lettering, reflecting bold vitality.
– Velvet Night employs black and purple typography to evoke the seductive atmosphere of Seoul’s nightscape.
ZEAL
Unshaken by others’ gazes,
expressing the beauty of a woman who lives passionately.
Jiil is a musk-based fragrance harmonized with vibrant green floral notes,
encapsulating a woman’s passion, confidence, and inner strength.
Its scent delivers rich depth and radiant energy,
representing the vitality of a woman unafraid to stand out.
VELVET NIGHT
A fragrance resembling Seoul’s night— where another
kind of allure unfolds— velvety, warm, and captivating.
Velvet Night is a floral oriental fragrance inspired
by the romance scattered across Seoul’s nocturnal streets.
With its black gradient glass,
it visually mirrors the dense yet soft texture of the scent—warm,
sensual, and elegantly enveloping like velvet itself.
For the perfume packaging, black was used as the primary color, with each fragrance distinguished by its own signature accent color.
The entire box features a leather-textured embossing, enhancing the tactile luxury and elevating the premium identity unique to Hera fragrances.
PERFUMED SHOWER GEL / BODY LOTION
The Perfumed Shower Gel and Body Lotion were designed to align visually with the perfumes, creating a cohesive family look across the line.
For the shower gel, red and purple tones were applied to express the fragrance within the formulation itself, while a matte transparent finish allows the contents to be subtly visible, enhancing sensory appeal.
The body lotion adopts a soft-touch texture and white tone to evoke the feel of smooth, hydrated skin.
Additionally, each scent’s color system is reflected in the label and typography, enabling customers to intuitively associate each product with its fragrance character.
