HAPPYBATH DALZAM Night Ritual Body Care

Going beyond the familiar visual symbols of the sleep-care market, the DALZAM line seeks to visualize the comforting moments of night that consumers genuinely experience through sensorial forms and a distinct design language.
The sense of being gently embraced by soft bedding is expressed through dimensional curved silhouettes, while the mood of soft pajamas is carried throughout the line in refined striped patterns and label graphics.
Paired with a dedicated gua sha inspired by the shape of a crescent moon, the line extends the feeling of a restful night through to the end of the routine, offering a deeper wellness experience that helps release the tension and emotions of the day.
Design Concept
In the sleep-care market, visual cues such as the moon, stars, purple tones, and clouds have become familiar symbols of restful sleep to consumers.
While HAPPYBATH DALZAM embraces this shared visual language, it also seeks to reinterpret the sensory experience of restful sleep as it is genuinely felt by customers through the product design.
The touch of clean, cozy bedding, the softness of pajamas, and the nighttime atmosphere created by a gentle bedside light—these elements that shape one’s real evening routine became key motifs for the DALZAM line and were expanded into the design language of the collection as a whole.

Shape
The form of the HAPPYBATH DALZAM line began with a single question: Could softness be embodied in the shape of a container?
The moment one lies down in soft bedding—the sensation of it slowly compressing and changing shape under the weight of the body—became the starting point. Going beyond the tactile limitations of rigid plastic, the design sought to express that sense of comfort and stability through form. This led to the creation of the softly curved silhouette with its gently indented center.
The flattened oval shape offers a natural, comfortable grip in the hand, while the symmetrical structure creates a sense of visual balance and composed stability. These sculptural characteristics are applied consistently across the entire line, regardless of size, forming an identity that preserves DALZAM’s distinctive impression throughout the collection.
In the case of the body mist, which is designed to be held and sprayed with one hand, the signature gently indented curve of DALZAM was maintained, while the height of the bottle was extended to more thoughtfully enhance usability in relation to the act of use itself.

CMF & Graphics
The HAPPYBATH DALZAM line was developed with the entire body care ritual in mind, from body wash to lotion and mist, shaping each product’s CMF and container graphics accordingly.
The body wash features a translucent light-purple bottle filled with a pearlescent formula reminiscent of an aurora, evoking the mood of the night. The body lotion incorporates a striped pattern inspired by pajamas, while its carefully tuned spacing and tones harmonize with the label graphic placed at the center of the bottle, conveying DALZAM’s sensibility with greater depth. The body mist comes in a transparent container through which the milky formula softly shows, intuitively expressing a rich sense of hydration.

We noted that existing body care tools have tended to focus heavily on function, often lacking an emotional or sensorial dimension to the experience.
Inspired by the crescent moon, the gua sha’s thick, rounded protruding form delivers sufficient pressure to deeper body spots while minimizing irritation, guiding the body into a naturally relaxed state.
Made of plastic, it can be used conveniently both during and after showering, extending DALZAM’s soothing sensibility through to the final step of the routine and helping bring the day to a complete and restful close.
Packaging
The HAPPYBATH DALZAM package was designed so that, from the very first moment customers encounter it, they can intuitively recognize it as a product that supports restful sleep within a short span of time.
