이니스프리의 소격동 공병공간 스토어는 ‘다시, 아름다움을 담다’ 는 컨셉으로 아름다운 재료를 담았던 쓰임을 다한 innisfree의 공병을 다시 아름다움을 담는 매장, 가구 , 기타 오브제로 새롭게 태어남을 업사이클링의 선순환을 보여 주고자 하였습니다. 매장 마감재 전체의 70%를 공병을 재활용 하였습니다.
The innisfree Store Made of Empty Bottles in Sogyeok-dong, designed according to the concept of “Beauty in the Bottle,” aims to express the virtuous cycle of upcycling by showing customers the process of rebirth, or the concept of containing beauty in used innisfree bottles, furniture and other objects. The finishing material of the store is 70% used empty bottles.
이니스프리 소격동 스토어의 특징 첫번째로 80년 넘은 기존의 건물(한옥)이 가지고 있는 천장의 목구조를 최대한 살려, 개방감을 줌과 동시에 , 기존 건물의 아름다움과 소격동이라는 위치적 특성을 살리고자 하였습니다. 둘째, 고객들로 하여금, 공병파쇄를 통해, 마감재를 제작하는 업사이클링을 체험할 수 있도록 하였습니다. 셋째, 공병 실시간 카운트 모니터로 고객들의 공병수거의 수치를 매장 내에서 실시간으로 보여줌으로서, 고객과 함께 하는 ‘공병수거캠패인’ 을 알리고자 하였습니다. 마지막으로 공병 아트월은 이니스프리는 Fabrikr와의 콜라보레이션으로, 쓰임을 다한 아름다움을 담고 있었던 화장품 공병을 , 꽃을 담는 화병으로 다시 아름다움을 담는 오브제로 탄생시켰습니다.
소격동 매장 천장의 방수 작업을 하던 도중, 잠시 기와 부분을 겉어내었습니다. 당시, 하늘과 옆집 기와가 보이는 모습, 햇볓이 매장의 수생식물로 드리우는 모습을 보고, 추후, 그 부분을 통 유리로 마감하여, 매장 내의 고객들에게도 자연의 아름다움을 조금이나마 보여드리고 싶었습니다.
The characteristics of the innisfree store in Sogyeok-dong include the location and the beauty of the building itself, as the original wooden ceiling of the hanok, which is more than 80 years old, gives a feeling of openness. Second, it is also a place where customers can experience upcycling by making the finishing material out of used empty bottles. Third, the store promotes the “Used Bottle Collection Campaign” via a real-time monitor that counts the number of empty bottles collected by customers. Lastly, the art wall made up of empty bottles represents innisfree’s artistic collaboration with Fabrikr and shows the rebirth of a beautiful object, including flower vases made of used cosmetic bottles.
While working on waterproofing the ceiling of the Sogyeok-dong store, innisfree removed the roof tiles for a while, which revealed a view of the sky and the roof tiles next door, and allowed the sunlight to shine on the aquatic plants in the store. innisfree then decided to finish the ceiling with glass, creating a beautiful store where customers can enjoy a bit of real nature.
