elements we began by closely observing customer usage patterns to define the critical features.
Collaboration with BANYAN TREE
반얀트리의 전문가들과 협업하며 괄사를 활용한 마사지에 대해 깊이 배울 수 있었다. 이를 통해 뭉친 근육을 케어하는 괄사의 하단 구조와,

We had the opportunity to deeply learn about massages using Gua Sha through collaboration with Banyan Tree.
Through this collaboration, we developed a special Gua Sha structure with a lower section designed to care
forensed muscles and sides that assist in spot care. This was created with the expert advice from Banyan

Design Story
괄사의 최적의 그립을 찾기 위해 다양한 프로토타입을 제작하고 다양한 테스트를 진행했다. 내부 고객들의 테스트와 여러 번의 실험을 통해 오일과
함께 괄사를 사용할 경우 미끄러움으로 인해 그립감이 저하되고, 이에 따른 불편함이 존재한다는 점을 발견했다. 이러한 불편함을 줄이기 위해
가장 만족스러운 마사지 경험을 제공할 수 있는 새로운 구조가 필요하다고 생각했다. 그리고 여러 번의 실험 끝에 마침내 최소한의 힘으로
최적의 마사지 압력을 전달할 수 있는 괄사 구조를 완성했다.
To find the optimal grip for the guasha tool, we created various prototypes and conducted numerous tests.
Through internal customer tests and multiple experiments, we discovered that using the guasha tool with
oil leads to decreased grip due to slipper, resulting in discomfort. We believed that a new structure
was necessary to reduce this inconvenience and provide the most satisfying massage experience.
After several experiments, we finally perfected a guasha structure that delivers optimal massage
pressure with minimal effort.
