Summary
2024 Hanyul Hangeul Collection, the Second Edition: Receiving of Hangeul, created to enable everyone to write, read,
and convey meaning, this collection is a heartfelt gift that connects hearts through Hangeul.
The Hangeul Collection is a project that re-examines the beauty and aesthetics of the Hangeul language. In the first
Hangeul Collection, typography was developed by leveraging the structural characteristics of Hangeul (such as the
proportion of horizontal and vertical lines, and the separation and combination of consonants and vowels). Building
upon this, the second collection package is presented with the added concept of “Connecting Hearts.”
By connecting consonants and vowels, and the lines between letters, the concept is intuitively illustrated. The ends
of the lines are given a thicker finish to visually represent the heartfelt sincerity, as if it is carefully pressed with the tip of a pen.
